Founded in 2010 by Drew Adam, the Sioux Falls Herpetological Society is the go-to source for everything reptiles and amphibians in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The group has three primary focus areas: building connections with people who love these exotic creatures, educating the public to increase awareness for these often-misunderstood animals, and promoting conservation efforts both locally and globally.
The group meets monthly, with meetings typically consisting of a speaker or activity and social time. All ages and experience levels are welcome. In fact, some of our most passionate members are youth! Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month at Augustana University, in the Madsen Science Center, room 101. Augustana is located at 2001 South Summit Avenue, in Sioux Falls. The Madsen Science Center is on the corner of Summit and 33rd Street.
